Nineteen-year-old rookie Bang Shin-sil combined her breezy long game with a sophisticated short game to lead the women’s golf E1 Charity Open for the second straight day.
Bang continued to impress today (27th) with a long drive of up to 280 metres.
He also showcased his precision putting skills as he went on a birdie streak.
There was a tricky 10 metre hook slope, which he also holed.
A manly wedge performance and a perfect finishing putt saw Bang shave three strokes off his score in the rain to take the lead for the second day in a row with a total of seven under par.
Park, who leads the money and points standings, is also tied for the lead with Heeji Kim and will be in contention for the title in tomorrow’s final round.
