New York Yankees catcher Aaron Judge, 31, has been named Major League Baseball’s (MLB) Player of the Month.
The MLB office announced the May players of the month for both leagues on Wednesday.
In the American League, Judge earned the honor. It’s his first honor of the season and sixth of his career.
Judge had a hot May. In 21 games, he batted .342 with 12 home runs, 25 RBIs, and an OPS of 1.356. Thanks to his May performance, he currently leads the American League in both home runs and OPS.
Injuries slowed him down to start the season, but he’s been on fire since returning and has quickly become a strong league MVP candidate. If Judge wins the MVP again this year, it will be his second straight after winning it last year. 먹튀검증

In 28 games in May, Freeman batted .400 with six home runs, 26 RBIs, and an OPS of 1.184. He has a 20-game hitting streak dating back to May 11 against the Milwaukee Brewers.
